After moving to the DC area Ed was named Executive Chef of the critically acclaimed Bistro Vivant in McLean where he met and hired Evan as a Jr. Sous Chef, and later moved on to be Chef/Partner of Quench in Rockville Md., which won awards for Best New Restaurant and Best Beverage Program for the State of Maryland.
After crowdsourcing the name, he launched the Bacon N' Ed's food trailer at Reston in October 2014. Since then the truck has been named to many "Best of Lists" and received several awards.
Hardy also has significant PR and campaign experience, having authored many articles (see links) and worked as a consultant for a statewide attorney general campaign, A Gov. Schwarzenegger ballot referendum, and a Philadelphia Mayoral race as well as a Capitol Hill researcher and speechwriter.
